Glenmore Industries, established in 1946, and under present management since 1977, initially focused on the manufacturing of printed and laminated vinyl materials for the home and industrial textile industries. In the early-1980s we began our transition to manufacturing products in Asia. Implementing our manufacturing knowledge and experience to manufacture and import select finished private label products to supplement our domestic production and thereby assisting our customers to meet the needs of the ever-changing competitive marketplace, proved effective and worthy.
We built our first PVC printing and laminating factory in Taiwan in 1993 which remains in operation today. Subsequently and in that same year we built a 1 million square foot manufacturing facility in Shenzhen, China. This plant was constructed to contain both a printing and laminating capability in-house as well as a fully equipped finished product manufacturing facility for the core focus of home and industrial textile products. Today we produce product in China, Taiwan, Vietnam, South Africa, India, and Pakistan with the support of more than 20 partner factories.
Our offices in the US are designed to provide total customer service. We support and assist our customers with end-to-end product design & development, with our state-of-the-art digital design studio and in-house engineers through the manufacturing process, further providing full shipping and logistics service. We incorporate our manufacturing experience in every step of that process administered by our highly qualified team in our Shanghai office where we provide “boots on the ground” to ensure diligent and meticulous quality assurance training of all our factory partners and applying rigid quality control inspections prior to shipping any orders.
The wide spectrum of product categories that we manufacture encompasses children’s gym products, industrial fabrics (Plastics & Textiles), RV awning materials, pool cover, truck tarpaulin, and home fashions consumer products. The diversification of our products has demanded that we understand and comply with all governmental protocols including all social and environmental standards and observe and meet all customer product requirements such as CPSIA, Prop 65, and REACH, to name a few.
